For both the public and healthcare providers alike, the NC Health Insurance Resource Center provides general overviews on our key national, state and local agencies' providing accreditation for NC insurers as well as a comprehensive overview of services provided by our key NC health insurers. Specifically, helpful information on NC health insurers is reviewed including their products, benefits, affiliated providers, decision support tools, disease specific programs and other helpful information. Section 3 includes NC Preventive Benefits Watch from NC Prevention Partners providing a link outlining a comprehensive overview of coverage for all preventive services offered by NC healthcare insurers. In addition, important tools from NC insurers for healthcare providers are housed in one site including the insurers' on line newsletters, disease management programs, provider guidelines and wellness/prevention tools. A special focus has been placed on the links that will help both the public and healthcare providers make more informed healthcare decisions.
